Peter Griffin

Job: Factory worker
Description: Peter Griffin wears the pants in his household. He is married to Lois, and father of Chris, Stewie, and Meg. When Peter isn't watching TV or at the Drunken Clam,he works as a safty inspector at Happy-Go-Lucky Toy Company, where he often invents new toys in hopes of a promotion. Peter isn't big on thinking, and makes quick irrational decisions. When Peter has an idea, he sees to it that it gets completed. He tries to do what is best for his family, but usually chooses the wrong path.

Lois Griffin

Age: 40
Job: Housewife/Piano Instructor
Description: Lois is one of the only reasonable members of the Griffin family. She spends her days teaching piano lessons, cleaning the house, and watching Stewie. Lois is oblivious to the fact that Stewie tries to kill her on a daily basis. Lois was born in Upper-crust RI, and comes from a wealthy family, unlike Peter.

Stewie Griffin

Job: None
Description: Stewie, the song of Lois & Peter, is remarkably intelligent for his age. He spends most of his time plotting out a new plan to kill Lois. So far, all his attempts have failed. Stewie's only friend is his teddy bear Rupert, which happens to be gay.

Meg Griffin

Age: 16
Job: Student
Description: Meg is the only daughter of Peter and Lois. Meg is unpopular in school, and will do almost anything to change that, including buying $1100 purses. Meg is often embarrassed by her father's behavior.

Chris Griffin

Age: 13
Job: Student
Description: Like father like son, Chris seems to also lack common sense. He listens to almost anything that comes out of his sisters mouth. One of Chris's talents is drawing, which he does when not watching TV. Chris also has an evil monkey living in his room's closet.

Brian Griffin

Age: 7
Job: Pet Dog
Description: Brian is Peter's best friend and 'advisor.' Brian, a talking dog, helps Peter get through whatever situation he got himself into. Brian's favorite activity is drinking Martini's and exercising his amazing singing voice. He doesn't like to be referred to as the family dog, and even gets upset when asked to participate in a dog show.

Glenn Quagmire

Age: ?
Job: Airline Pilot
Description: A next door neighbor to the Griffins. When Quagmire isn't flying airplanes, he's working his moves on the ladies, but rarely scores. Quagmire’s main objective is to be with Lois.

Cleveland

Age: ?
Job: Deli Owner
Description: Cleveland is another neighbor of the Griffins. He is the father to a hyper-active boy Cleveland Jr., and husband to Loretta. Cleveland owns a deli, and is very calm and suttle when he talks.

Joe Swanson

Age: ?
Job: Police Officer
Description: Joe is also a neighbor of the Griffins, but also handicapped. He was paralyzed from the waste down one christmas while investigating a robbery. Joe is married to Bonnie, and the two have a son Kevin, who Meg tries to win over when the family first moved to Quahog. One of Joe's strengths as a police officer is being able to negotiate. Joe has won the special olympics.

Description: Portrayed as a "loser" who still lives with his mother, has asthma (seen taking an inhaler) and has never had a successful date. He apparently hates the fact that he is dead and the fact that he has no buttocks.

Mr. Herbert

Age: ?
Job: Retired
Description: An elderly ephebophile/pedophile with a possible desire to be a transsexual, Herbert impotently lusts after Chris Griffin from time to time. He resides just down the street from the Griffins and has tried on several occasions (unsuccessfully) to seduce Chris, with such gems as "Hey, muscley-arm, why the long face?" and "You like popsicles? Then you need to come on down to the cellar, I got a whole freezer full of popsicles. Mmhmm."
